Valorifi.com sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for session management. There is nothing to accept and nothing to refuse, which is why you were not shown a consent banner when you arrived.

We are aware that this is unusual enough to read as an oversight. It is not. A marketing site for an engineering consultancy has no need to follow anyone around the internet, and we would rather not hold data we cannot justify.

vf_ann records which announcement you last dismissed, so the notice at the top of the page stays closed after you close it.

vf_op records that you have already been offered (or already taken) the one-page brief, so you are not asked twice.

Each holds a version string and nothing else. No identifier, no profile, no behaviour, no record of what you read. Neither is ever sent to our servers, and neither is readable by any other website. Local storage is not a cookie, but it is browser storage, so we would rather tell you about it than argue the distinction.

There are no analytics tags, advertising pixels, session recorders, chat widgets, embedded videos or social plugins on this site. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third-party CDN, so no external party is told which pages you visited.

We do not fingerprint devices and we do not attempt to identify visitors who have not contacted us.

Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) as part of operating and securing the service. These are not cookies and are not used to build a profile of you. They are retained for 30 days under our hosting provider's own policy.

Submitting the enquiry form sends what you typed to us by email, so that a person can read it and reply. That is a separate matter from browser storage and is covered by our privacy notice.

To remove both stored items, clear site data for valorifi.com in your browser settings, or use private browsing. Nothing will break. The announcement notice and the one-pager offer simply reappear once each.
